Metallurgy engineer from the Universidad Técnica de Oruro – 1987, Degree in Metallurgy Engineering (RWTH – Aachen) – 1993, PhD in Metallurgy Engineering: Hydrometallurgy and Electrometallurgy – (RWTH – Aachen) – 1995. Head Professor at the Technical University of Oruro, Post-degree coordinator in the engineering and technology area, he is in charge of the post-degree direction and scientific research.  He has participated in several Post-degree programs and research projects nationally and internationally and made ​​many scientific publications.
